Everything from the dirt up

Heavy sitework and residential construction, handled by one licensed Virginia contractor.

    Excavation & Site Prep

Every good project starts with the dirt. We handle the earthwork that sets up the rest of the build: digging foundations and basements, cutting and filling building pads, and getting the site ready for the next trade to show up and get to work.

    • Foundation & basement excavation
    • Building pad cut & fill
    • Footing and trench digging
    • Rock and stump removal
    • Compaction and proof-rolling
    • Backfill around foundations

    Grading & Land Clearing

Whether it's a wooded lot you want to build on or a yard that sends water toward the house, we clear, shape and grade land so it works the way it should, with proper slope, drainage and a clean finish.

    • Tree, brush and stump clearing
    • Rough and finish grading
    • Laser-guided slope work
    • Topsoil spreading & seeding prep
    • Pasture and field reclamation
    • Erosion & sediment control

    Water, Sewer & Utilities

We dig, lay and backfill the underground lines a property depends on. From a new water service to a sewer tie-in or a long conduit run to a shop, we put it in at the right depth and leave the ground the way we found it.

    • Water service lines
    • Sewer laterals & tie-ins
    • Electrical & data conduit trenching
    • Gas line trenching
    • Line repair & replacement
    • Boring under driveways & walks

    Roads, Driveways & Culverts

As a Highway/Heavy licensed contractor, we build roads and driveways from the subgrade up, so they don't wash out or rut after the first hard rain. That means good base, proper crown and drainage that actually carries water away.

    • New gravel driveways
    • Private & farm roads
    • Driveway regrading & repair
    • Culvert pipe installation
    • Stone base for paving
    • Parking areas & turnarounds

    Drainage & Stormwater

Water always wins if you let it. We find out where it's coming from and give it somewhere better to go, using regrading, French drains, swales, culverts and ponds that protect your foundation and your land.

    • French drains & curtain drains
    • Swales and ditches
    • Downspout & yard drain lines
    • Foundation waterproofing excavation
    • Farm ponds & retention basins
    • Riprap & erosion repair

    Demolition & Hauling

We take down old structures safely, haul away the debris and leave you a clean, graded site ready for what comes next. We also deliver and haul fill dirt, gravel and stone.

    • House & mobile home removal
    • Barn and outbuilding demolition
    • Concrete & slab removal
    • Debris hauling
    • Fill dirt & gravel delivery
    • Site cleanup

    Septic Tank Installs

Most homes out in the county run on a septic system, and it has to be dug and set right the first time. We excavate for the tank and drain field, set the tank, lay the lines to the approved permit and design, and backfill and grade so the yard looks finished when we leave.

    • New septic tank installs
    • Drain field installation
    • Tank replacements
    • Distribution box & line work
    • Excavation & backfill
    • Final grading & cleanup

    Residential Construction

Because we hold a Residential Building (RBC) license on top of our excavation work, we can take a project from raw land to finished structure. One contractor for the sitework and the build means fewer hand-offs and fewer surprises.

    • Custom new homes
    • Home additions
    • Detached garages & shops
    • Pole barns & outbuildings
    • Foundations & slabs
    • Decks & porches
